The college experience is challenging by design. Students learn about themselves and life by developing ways to adjust to new environments and support systems. This is an important process in becoming self-sufficient. However, self-sufficient doesn't mean alone. Colleges and universities understand that students will require additional support from time to time. Most schools provide resources on campus to aide students through times of turmoil or crisis.
